The La Sportiva Spire directly borrows technology from their Mountain Running and Mountain lines and uses them in an amazingly soft and light hiking shoe that's comfortable straight out of the box.
The La Sportiva Spire uses the lates Gore-Tex Surround technology to make them the most breathable waterproof shoes going round. This is great especially in our climate when it can get pretty hot and humid. Combine this with a highly shock absorbing compressed EVA with TPU chassis midsole and a Vibram sole and you have a shoe that is great for day hikes, fast and light multiday hikes, general travel, light treks and much more.
